The 2nd CAC Africa Summit

chinese-picThe 2nd CAC Africa summit will be held in Nairobi on 20-21 September 2016. Dubbed ‘Gateway to the Africa Agrochemical Market’, the summit will bring together 40 Chinese and Indian agrochemical companies who will show case their products at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC).

Drawn together under the second China International Agrochemicals and Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC) Africa Summit, the companies intend to increase awareness on their own manufactured chemicals available for use by Kenyan and African farmers in general.

The summit, a joint initiative by Chinese sub-Council of Chemical Industry and Egerton University and the second to be held in Kenya targeting agrochemicals dealers from both countries.

China (Africa) Agrochemicals Summit and Exhibition sponsored Iprochem Company Limited, organized by CCPIT Sub-Council of Chemical Industry and supported by Kenya Pest Control Products Board, Kenya Investment Authority and Cereal Growers Association.

The co-organizers include Egerton University, Kenya Agribusiness and Agroindustry Alliance (KAAA), Agrochemical Association of Kenya and Monband Specialty Fertilizers Co. Ltd.

China has built sound friendship and cooperation with Africa and is a big producer and exporter of pesticides, provides efficiency, low toxic and residue, safe, reliable, quality and cheap pesticide products.

Kenya Pest Control Products Board (PCPB) issued 1,272 kinds of pesticides and 301 Chinese agrichemical companies registered in Kenya accounting for 24 percent of all foreign agrichemical companies. The main products on display will be Plant protection products such as pesticides, bio-pesticides, fertilizers, new fertilizers, pesticide intermediates and plant growth regulating agents.
